17 Years Creating Engaging eLearning, Leadership & L&D Solutions
| Strategic Marketing, PR & Event Production Expertise

Unlike many in my field, I pursued my M.S. in Organizational Learning & Development during the height of the 2011 recession in Boston, a global hub of education and innovation. At 27, while completing my degree, I trained more than 1,000 young women in confidence and personal development through my first instructional role, establishing the foundation for a career centered on growth, transformation, and measurable impact.

At Babson College, ranked #1 globally for Entrepreneurship, I redesigned the Student Leadership Program’s assessment framework through a 40-page strategic report, the first major revision in 14 years. This work earned recognition from the Dean of the Coaching for Leadership & Teamwork Program and deepened my focus on leadership development and organizational growth.

I later moved to New York City as a Corporate Training Analyst with National Grid, where I transformed a traditional onboarding process into a structured 14-day learning program and trained over 135 union new hires while supporting a workforce of 165 employees and leadership.

Over the past 15+ years, I have grown into a multidisciplinary Learning & Development Consultant, Trainer, and Coach, delivering full-cycle learning solutions across private, federal, and Fortune 500 environments, including the U.S. Navy, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Carnival Cruise Lines, PwC, Walmart, Wells Fargo, and more. My work spans leadership development, enterprise learning design, and organizational training across healthcare, finance, telecommunications, retail, technology, and the military.

In parallel, I developed strong expertise in strategic communications, public relations, and experiential program delivery, leading multi-sponsor retreats, learning initiatives, and media-driven programs reaching audiences of over 120,000 and engaging a global network of more than 40,000 professionals. These experiences strengthened my ability to align learning, communication, and organizational identity to drive both performance and engagement.

I thrive at the intersection of structure and innovation, combining adult learning theory, ADDIE and SAM frameworks, coaching psychology, and modern AI-supported tools to create scalable learning experiences. From facilitating SME workshops and modernizing legacy curriculum to launching global certification programs and high-impact development initiatives, my focus is always measurable transformation and sustainable growth.

What others say:

“Efficient meets exceptional is how I would describe Emily… Her turnaround times were shockingly fast.” – Joann Salerno, Project Manager, U.S. Navy project

Professional and personal at the same time… Powerful and insightful, she is the real deal.” – Jonathan Mitchell, MBA, TEDx Speaker

What makes me different:

I combine enterprise Learning & Development expertise with a master-level coaching certification (iPEC, 350+ hours), advanced communication and facilitation capability, and more than a decade of experience in strategic communications and program leadership. I am currently completing my PMP certification. This unique blend allows me to design learning experiences that not only inform, but build confidence, drive behavior change, and strengthen organizational culture.

I am motivated by environments that value collaboration, creativity, and meaningful impact, and I remain committed to helping organizations elevate people, performance, and leadership through strategic learning and communication.

EXPERTISE

EXPERIENCE

CURRICULUM DEVELOPER

Full-cycle Instructional Designer, Coach & E-Learning Developer with a Master’s from Suffolk University and 12+ years’ expertise in ADDIE and adult learning theory. I design high-impact learning solutions for Fortune 500 clients (U.S. Navy, Carnival Cruise Lines), create end-to-end coaching curricula (e.g., a 12-week Sixstar Coaching program with a 111-page workbook), and develop integrated assets—eLearning, workshops, logos, websites, and digital media—merging instructional design with brand storytelling.

INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER

I’ve designed impactful learning programs for clients including the U.S. Navy, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tracfone Wireless, PwC, and PCMA. Highlights include developing 30+ submarine training guides for the Navy, creating multiple Storyline eLearning modules for corporate onboarding, building experiential learning paths at PwC, and launching PCMA’s 2021 Digital Events Strategist Certification, which now serves 6,000+ global learners.

ICF-CERTIFIED BUSINESS COACH

In 2011, I invested $10K of my savings to complete 350 hours of training at the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching, the #1 ICF-accredited program worldwide. Soon after, I was contracted by Sixstar Coaching to train and certify over 250 students. Over the past 11 years, I’ve built a career as a Corporate Consultant and Business Coach, leveraging my coaching foundation to understand client goals, drive process improvement, and strengthen communication, project management, and personal development with every engagement.

TRAINER & FACILITATOR

In May 2024, I designed and delivered a week-long Leadership Training for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. My background includes training 1,000+ youth as a Personal Development Instructor at Barbizon, certifying 250 coaches globally with Sixstar, and training 165 employees as a Corporate Trainer at National Grid. With 10 years as a classically trained theater actress, I bring performance, public speaking, and networking strengths into every L&D initiative. I specialize in ILT workshops, virtual summits, breakout sessions, and masterclasses on Zoom, and excel at collaborating with SMEs to create timely, effective learning solutions.
